Fashioned from black crepe. Cut with a slightly upturned front hemline, and a-line skirt. Featuring a semi-deep v-neckline, with circular cut yoke which folds over and extends across the back of the shoulders.  With central front row of crepe covered buttons, and waist sash which may be closed to the front, side, back, etc. The skirt also features a somewhat bias-like cut at the sides, giving it the graduated, fuller a-line hem.
