Princess. Also having designed the famous off-shoulder evening gown worn
to the Gonzaga exhibition, which became one of her most symbolic
garments.
This example is an emerald green silk chiffon evening dress, dating
to the 1980's. Decorated with tierred ruffles with a sexy single-shoulder
top, and slitted side with cascading ruffles which spiral outward towards
the hemline.
The dress is lined and labelled Bellville Sassoon / Made in
England, it fastens at the side with a zipper.
Measurements: Bust 35", Waist 25".
The condition is almost Excellent- there is the
tiniest hint of discolouration to the lining at the underarms (lining
only!), unseen when worn. |
