A most elegant & sophisticated Bill Blass 'sculputral' evening dress, c.1970-80. Fashioned from black silk taffeta and black silk jersey to the bodice area. The silk jersey will mold beautifully to the wearer's shape, and with the high neckline, it will further provide a touch of elegance and elongate, also having bracelet length sleeves which are perfect for being able to accessorize.

 

The skirt is comprised of the black silk taffeta, and has been gathered and applied to the central front creating a cascading ruffled effect, with a knee-high slit—a perfect touch of added sexiness!

 

Lined in jersey and it fastens at the back with a zipper, and is labelled.
