A grande Edwardian evening gown, in a rarely found, excellent condition! Fashioned from glowing, ivory silk satin, with a shaped tulle overlay. Embellished with hand applied gold beads throughout the tulle, and with beaded fringe at the sleeve's end. Also having a golden beaded tassel dangling from the waistline on a panel of satin.

 

The gown features a classic, statuesque shape, with an elongated skirt and graduated trailing hemline.I love the soft, glowing satin, combined with the golden beads, together they both give the gown a regal beauty! It fastens at the back with a series of hook-and-eye closures, and is all lined in silk.

The condition is Excellent- very minor bead loss, otherwise pristine!
